Pocket PC: Capturing Customer Data

Not only does iDeal provide you with all the product information you need for training and selling, but your PDA can be a powerful tool in capturing sales leads and customer information wherever you are in a comfortable way for your customer. Never lose another contact or lead. Here's how...

1. •Press the hardware button for Contacts (or tap "Start" and then "Contacts".
   

2. •Tap "New" in the lower left corner of the screen.
   

3. •Fill in the fields as needed such as Name, Phone Numbers (home, work, mobile, etc.). You may use any of the Pocket PC input methods based on your preferences: Block Recognizer, Keyboard, Letter Recognizer, or Transcriber.
   

4. •Use the Note screen to record other valuable information such as what vehicle the contact is interested in or what their buying timeline is (tap the Note tab at the bottom of the screen).
   

5. •Tap OK in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and the Contact will be saved and appear in your list of Contacts. (This process may very slightly depending on your Pocket PC version.)
