Pocket PC: Direct Updates


iDeal® can update your subscriptions for you, simplifying the process and saving you time. Here's how it works...


  1. •Select the "iDeal" menu item, then select System, then Settings

  2. •Enter your username and password in the first two fields (use the same username and password that you use to log in to the website)

  3. •Select "OK"

  4. •Make sure your device is connected to your desktop with your ActiveSync cable/cradle

  5. •Select the "iDeal" menu, then System, then Update...

  6. •iDeal will automatically log in to the website and check for available updates for your subscriptions; you will be presented with a list of updates that are available

  7. •When the list of updates is displayed select where you want to install them in the "Update To" drop down list by selecting "Main Memory" or a memory expansion card

  8. •Select the "Update" button to install the updates


You no longer need to log in to the website and download and install each update individually.
