iDeal and your PDA provide powerful tools to assist you during the sales cycle from Prospecting to Closing. In this edition of Tips and Tricks we will cover how to use reminders to help you ensure that you don't miss any sales opportunities:
•Set a reminder to call a prospective customer back when new models arrive on the lot
•After closing a lease deal, set a reminder to contact the customer 2 months before the lease runs out to start selling them their next vehicle
•After closing a customer, set a reminder to call the customer in 1 week to follow up on their positive experience and ask them for referrals and other prospects
•Set a reminder for the weekend sales meeting or other appointments with prospects
Use reminders to be more effective in your sales efforts and provide a positive, professional experience to your customers. Here's how...
Setting a reminder on a calendar appointment:
•While editing an appointment tap the "Reminder" field and select "Remind me".
•Set the amount of time before the appointment to be reminded on the next line (for example, 15 minutes).
•Tap "OK" in the upper right corner of the screen.
Setting a reminder on a task:
•While editing a task make sure to set a due date and then tap on the "Reminder" field and select "Remind me".
•Set the date for the reminder on the next line. Tap the field and select a date from the pop up calendar.
•Tap "OK" in the upper right corner of the screen.
