Palm OS: Capturing Customer Data

Not only does iDeal provide you with all the product information you need for training and selling, but your PDA can be a powerful tool in capturing sales leads and customer information wherever you are in a comfortable way for your customer. Never lose another contact or lead. Here's how...

• Press the hardware button for Contacts (or tap the "home" icon to get to your icons and tap

   the icon for Contacts).

• Tap the "New" button to add a Contact.

• Fill in the fields as needed such as Last Name, First Name, Phone Numbers (home, work,

   mobile, etc.). You may enter the data by writing in the bottom portion of the screen with your

   stylus or by tapping on the small "ABC" at the bottom of the screen to use an onscreen

   keyboard.

• Use the custom fields provided to store additional information such as what vehicle the

   contact is interested in or what their buying timeline is.

• Tap "Done" when you have filled in the fields and the Contact will be saved and appear in your

   list of Contacts. (This process may vary slightly depending on your version of the Palm OS.)
