Palm OS: Writing Anywhere on the Screen

If you have a hard time entering Graffiti characters and would like to see what you are writing, need more space to write characters, or just want more freedom for where you write, you can turn on an option that allows you to write anywhere on the screen and see your pen strokes (this option is not available on some older versions of the Palm OS).

• Tap on the house icon to get to the application launcher

• Tap on the "Prefs" icon to go to Preferences

• Tap on "Writing Area"

• Tap on "On" to turn on the option to write anywhere on the screen

• Tap the check box to show pen strokes on the screen

• Tap "Done"

Now you can write anywhere on the screen and see your pen strokes as you capture customer information, set appointments, and track tasks.
